People searching for an Invisalign provider near me mostly look at map results, but distance alone is not a sound criterion. Whether you type 'Invisalign near me' or 'Invisalign provider near me', the same questions apply: does the doctor have orthodontic training, are they an Invisalign provider, and do they show you the plan at the first examination? This page explains what to look at when deciding on a clinic near you and how the first visit goes at our clinic in Oran/Çankaya.
What should you look at when choosing an Invisalign provider near you?
The checklist below works at any clinic. You can find these things out from search results, the clinic's website or by asking by phone.
- The doctor's field: Are they a specialist orthodontist or a general dentist? Both can provide Invisalign; the difference is training and case experience. For details, see the article on the difference between an orthodontist and a dentist.
- The examination comes first: Be cautious about places that quote a treatment plan or duration before an examination and scan. You can read about the risks of treatment carried out without an examination in the article clear aligners online.
- Showing the plan: Is the treatment plan explained step by step on the screen, and is there room for you to ask questions?
- Check-up routine: Is it discussed from the start how many weeks apart you will visit and whether appointment times fit your schedule?
- Clear fee information: Do they say what the fee depends on and that it will be given in writing? Giving the figure in writing after the examination, rather than by phone or message, is a sound approach.
How can you tell whether a doctor is an Invisalign provider?
Invisalign is provided only by registered doctors who have completed the training of the company that makes the system. The safest way to verify is to ask directly and to check the doctor locator on the official Invisalign website. Having an iTero scanner at the clinic also shows it is ready for digital planning, but on its own it does not mean being a provider. You can ask the doctor: Are you an Invisalign provider, and have you treated cases like mine before? Getting a second opinion from clinics that do not give a clear answer is also a reasonable step.
For general information about the brand, see our Invisalign page, and for how the system works, take a look at the article what is Invisalign.
What happens at the first Invisalign examination?
The first visit is usually completed in a single appointment and does not oblige you to start treatment. The table below summarizes the flow at our clinic. Duration and details may vary from person to person.
| Stage | What is done? | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| Listening and examination | Your concern, expectations and oral health are assessed | Whether the treatment is suitable for you is discussed |
| Imaging | X-rays and photographs are taken if needed | The roots, jaw and gum condition can be seen |
| Intraoral scan with iTero | Your teeth are scanned digitally; no impression material is needed | A three-dimensional model of your teeth is produced |
| ClinCheck plan | The step-by-step movement of your teeth to their target position is shown on screen | You understand the estimated duration, the number of aligners and possible additional procedures (attachments, IPR) |
| Written information | Duration, check-up frequency and fee are given in writing | A chance to think it over and decide |
For details of scanning and digital planning, see our technology page. Digital scanning does not promise the same result in every case; ClinCheck is an estimated plan and may be updated during treatment based on the doctor's assessment.
How many times do you need to come to the clinic during treatment?
This is one of the most practical questions when choosing a clinic near you. In most cases check-ups are scheduled about every 6–10 weeks; aligners are changed at home according to the schedule the doctor gives you. Treatment duration varies by case. Mild cases may be shorter and complex cases longer. If the goal has not been reached at the end of treatment, an additional set of aligners may be needed; for this, see the article on Invisalign refinement. You can read what the small tooth-colored bumps called attachments are for in the attachments article.
It is possible to keep check-up appointments short: if you wear your aligners regularly and move on to new sets on time, most check-ups go quickly. If you lose or break an aligner, call the clinic without waiting; the doctor will consider either going back to the previous set or having a new one made.
If you are coming from another city or from abroad
For those who live outside Ankara and are considering coming to Ankara for Invisalign, the treatment has to be planned from the start. At the first examination the scan and plan are made, and then the aligners are prepared. Not every check-up may need to be in person; however, which check-ups require coming to the clinic is determined together with the doctor, case by case. So if you will be coming from out of town, be sure to ask about check-up frequency and the visit plan at the first consultation. For details, see the page for patients from outside the city, and if you change doctors or cities during treatment, see the article on transfer.
For international patients, the clinic offers service in Turkish, English, German and Russian. You can make first contact in these languages over WhatsApp. The orthodontics for foreigners page is ready with the process and practical information.
Where is our clinic and when is it open?
Funda Sarıkaya Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic is in the Oran neighborhood of Çankaya, at Park Oran Ofis on Kudüs Street (Dükkan No:70). It is next to Panora Mall and across from One Tower Mall. Funda Pekyılmaz Sarıkaya, specialist orthodontist (Uzm. Dt.), provides the Invisalign system. The clinic is open Monday–Saturday, 09:00–20:00, and does not operate on Sunday.
Travel time varies with the neighborhood and traffic. For those coming to Oran from the Eskişehir Road or from the Çankaya side, typing Park Oran Ofis into your navigation is enough; for public transport we recommend checking current line information in the EGO Cep'te app. For surrounding neighborhoods, see the Ankara clear aligners page.
How do you book an appointment?
To book, you can call 0312 911 60 36 or write via WhatsApp from the same number. Adding your age, the concern you want to correct and any previous orthodontic history to your message makes the first visit more efficient. Fee information is given in writing after the examination and planning, not by phone. For the factors that determine the cost of treatment in general, see the clear aligner prices page.
This information is general; the decision for you is made after an examination.
